single Cummins 6CTA 8.3 litre straight 6-cylinder 300hp fresh water
cooled (via h/exchanger) turbocharged and aftercooled diesel engine (new
1991), coupled to a Twin Disc 5061A 1.5:1 reduction ratio hydraulic
gearbox, and driving stainless steel prop shaft and bronze prop,
delivers around 20 knots max. |

engine box is centrally situated on the main bulkhead, with good engine
access. Wheelhouse door to starboard ; helm position to stbd , with
pedestal helm seat ; bench seat ; galley to port with Techimpex gas oven
with 2 rings and grill, and manually pumped cold water to the stainless
steel galley sink. The heads has been converted to stowage. V-berth in
the forecabin. |

This
solidly built and seaworthy Lochin has done 25 years hard work as
a charter angling vessel, and never let me down, mechincanicaly
there are no problems what so ever. But a coat of paint and varnish
would not go amiss. I now wish to retire and it is therefore offered for
sale.
