Electric Anchor Capstans [Internal Motor Models]

        We supply four basic models with internal motors, making them very easy to install. They are extremely rugged in construction being built with the best materials available. The castings are marine quality aluminum (LM25) heat-treated and sand blasted to give a grey matt appearance, which achieves a very durable and hard wearing marine finish. They are also available in bronze, which are even more hard wearing and looks superb.
       The gears are all high tensile steel EN8 and EN24, depending on the loading on them. Needle bearings and ball races are employed throughout and the gearboxes are grease filled for life. Mounting is by stainless steel studs blind tapped into the base of the capstan (supplied in 150mm lengths). We can also supply a mahogany pad turned and jig drilled for easy mounting.
